Since launching in a single Harlem school in 2008, we have always believed that partner dancing can serve as a powerful arts-in-education tool for improving peer relations, and significantly enhancing social & emotional learning among the students we so passionately engage every BALLROOM BASIX class!

In fact, our “fun, fitness and fancy footwork” has transformed the young lives of more than 35,000 kids in over 250 schools in all 5 boroughs of New York City!

This Tuesday 12/3 is GivingTuesday, a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations, like BALLROOM BASIX, to transform their communities and the world!
